As a freelance illustrator based in Rhode Island, Steve Mardo combines experience and a vivid imagination to deliver exceptional visual storytelling and design. My portfolio showcases collaborations with a diverse clientele, spanning from Boston publications to Los Angeles galleries. I've created detailed and imaginative illustrations and narratives, often drawn from my love of campy superhero's, sci fi and pulp horror. Creating characters, environments, and narratives, my work has been featured in various publications, including comics, magazines, galleries, and promotional art for prominent brands such as Marvel Entertainment, Adult Swim, and Yu-Gi-Oh!.I have also lectured at colleges in New England, and taught comic and illustration workshops.
